It’s like a book club reading list, but instead with valuable and practical resources from top people in their game who’ve done it, and done it well.
My purpose has always been to help others live better by providing useful and valuable tips for life, traveling, work, and money.
My story
Back in January 2023, I found myself freshly unemployed. That’s because I’d completed the terms of my exit and earn-out agreement with the company that bought my company.
I founded a financial content agency in 2016, sold it in 2020, and agreed to stay on as the company’s CEO until December 2022.
While it was some of the most rewarding work of my life, in the immediate aftermath I was totally burned out.
After years of working a non-stop, deadline-driven role which had me involved in most parts of the business, I was in a daze for a long time.
Then malaise kicked in.
Only in the past year has my brain fog cleared up and I’ve once again found the motivation, ambition, and drive to get back into the swing of things.
So, I’ve been researching how I want to focus my attention and capital, and what to do next.
Before I devote any time or effort into any business, I research.
Yes, I get a little bit of “shiny object syndrome,” but this is the fun part of being a multi-hyphenate in a planning phase.
There is so much money in the world to be had, and yet while I have many interests, I won’t get behind a new business (retail or service-based), unless I’m not interested or curious about it.
